Sales Manager

POSITION: Sales Manager - this post has now been filled.

SALARY: £35k-45k (depending on experience) plus company vehicle and monthly commission scheme

LOCATION: Burton-on-Trent

MUST HAVE: Driving License and Sales Management experience

The company: Provide environmental solutions and waste management services and have been established for over 25 years. Assisting customers from sole traders to blue chip companies, providing exceptional service. This can only be achieved with an excellent team, and the company are currently expanding. They have a specialist and self-owned and operated fleet and have complete control and flexibility over every aspect of the services they offer. Further details available.

Hours: Mon – Fri 7.30am – 5.00pm

Requirements for this position:

Purpose of Role: Our client are looking to hire a Sales Manager to lead and develop a highly motivated sales team, generating new business whilst looking after existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate and reliable sales reporting

• Day-to-day management of the sales team

• Effectively managing and growing your own client base

• Working with the team to support the growth of their own clients

• Act as a professional ambassador for the company

• Develop effective training activities

• Monitor GDPR guidelines

• Monitor quotes and terms and conditions adherence

• Prospect, identify, initiate, develop, and nurture business relationships and opportunities

• Identify key decision makers, determine buying readiness and timelines

• Meet targets and any other KPI’s set

• Being the main point of contact for sales and business development

• Holding meetings to review field team delivery & performance

• Building strong and constructive relationships with all appropriate client contacts

• Through coaching and performance management, develop a highly motivated team

• Delivering regular team 1:1 reviews, create individual development/action plans and Identifying areas of under performance

• Analysing team performance data to identify opportunities/risks and drive overall performance

• Ongoing review of call log and google sheets and making recommendations for optimisation

• Ensure team expenses are kept within a reasonable amount and that

any bonus schemes established are robust

• Manage and qualify inbound warm leads from the team to create sales-ready leads and opportunities.

• Perform timely outbound calls and engage in other forms of communication (i.e. email etc.) to prospect for new opportunities and qualify warm leads.

• Update and amend WIX website

• Manage all marketing and social media accounts
